Colophon
I grew up in the British West Indies, studied Physics in New Jersey and Electrical Engineering in Atlanta, and Michigan. I live and work in the Princeton area. I have a background in engineering research and development but I’ve also done IT consulting, web development, systems integration, and information security risk management. I cut my programming teeth learning BASIC on a Commodore VIC 20 my dad bought me one summer but I also have decades of experience with various of operating systems platforms and languages — UNIX, Linux, OS X, Windows, C, Perl. PHP, JavaScript.
Photography is my hobby and I take a camera with me everywhere but I spend way too much time on the web. I’m a Mac geek (and Vice President of the Princeton MacIntosh Users’s Group) with a social media habit. I love hefe-weisse ales and African coffees.
This web log is where I share my incoherent and random thoughts and rants about technology, photography, coffee, diabetes and life.
